
Scorpio Table Tennis Academy – terms and conditions
1. Practice Fees
• If you wish to stay and practice after your regular group lesson, you must pay the standard court fee for the additional court time.
• Elite program players may use the court for free during designated open practice hours.
• Players not enrolled in the elite program should not remain or occupy tables outside of their scheduled class times.
• If a coach brings a friend to practice, that friend must pay a court fee of $20 per hour.
• Academy members may bring one friend to play for $10 per session. Any additional friends will be charged at the standard court rate.
2. Private Lesson Pricing
• Players currently enrolled in group lessons automatically qualify for member rates on private coaching sessions.
• Players who are not attending group lessons will be charged the coach’s standard private lesson rate for one-on-one sessions.
• All private lessons should be booked in advance; walk-in requests for private coaching cannot be guaranteed.
3. Absence and Make-Up Policy
• For both group and private lessons, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you will miss a session. This advance notice is required to receive a free make-up class.
• If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, the session will be charged in full and you will not be eligible for a refund or reschedule (except in special circumstances).
• Any make-up lessons must be completed within the original course period or term of enrollment.
4. Classroom Etiquette
• Please silence your mobile phone during training sessions.
• Follow the coach’s instructions and training plan, and avoid interrupting other students’ practice.
• Parents and other companions should wait in the designated area and not enter the training space during classes.
5. Safety and Facility Rules
• Always warm up properly before class to help prevent injuries. If you feel unwell or sustain an injury, inform the coach immediately.
• Proper table tennis shoes must be worn at all times on the court. No dress shoes, street shoes, sandals, or cleats are allowed in the playing area.
• Treat all equipment and facilities with care. Do not move tables without permission or engage in any behavior that could damage equipment. Players will be responsible for any damage to the facilities or equipment.
6. After-Class Cleanup and Belongings
• After each session, please pick up all balls and return them to the ball bucket or designated container.
• Take care of your personal belongings. The academy is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal items.
7. Additional Notes
• Coaches will regularly assess each player’s progress and may adjust training group assignments or recommend advancement to a higher-level program when appropriate.
